THE most advanced city in the world?! How? Let me show you!
Heideexyz
In this video, we explore the most high-tech things in the fastest growing tech-hub city in the world -Shenzhen! Watch us try out tea deliveries via the sky, ghosts driving us in cars on highways, palm payments, Xiaomi cars in their automotive flagship store, to robots serving us food. We even visit the high-tech fair to show you the kind of robots not yet available to buy in the market! We stayed at Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen in the prime CBD area, so if you are interested in that it's in this video too! This was gifted via my Instagram. Nothing else in this video was sponsored or gifted, we paid for it all ourselves. If you've visited before but over a year ago, this city has had THE most dramatic glow up in human history, so you will still find things you haven't seen before! It is not a chip in my hand. And it is not the ONLY method to pay, it's just the newest option to pay. They still take cash if that's your preferred method of payment. THE LIGHT SHOW Is at the Futian Civic Center runs primarily on Fridays and Saturdays only, plus Chinese public holidays, with three shows per night (7pm, 8pm, and 9pm in Winter; 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm in Summer/Autumn) DRONE DELIVERY We saw reviews about it taking up to an hour to deliver, but it was only 10-15 mins for us, it could be down to the tea shop not being busy, or this specific drone location not being busy. Apparently, drone delivery could lead to a ~80-95% reduction in single-use packaging waste and a ~50-85% reduction in last-mile carbon emissions per delivery for eligible packages compared to traditional home food and drink delivery.
